Hi folks! xD DANG I am back from Sydney T_T I missed the place so much.. Even though it's been quite a number of days since I left the place, my heart is still there! :O I've been checking its weather everyday, and even the local time in my cellphone is Sydney's. Lol, I didn't do it on purpose xD my cellphone automatically changed its local time when I arrived in Sydney but it didn't revert back to our local time when I came back. I guess my cellphone doesn't want to accept the fact that it's in Singapore too, haha! The trip was definitely more fun than expected~ first of all, a French boy (or guy) sat beside me on the plane. French, and handsome too! *drools* at first I didn't talk with him, as no one on earth would start a conversation with a stranger without a "good" reason, I guess. Lol. But yeah, he was the friendly type I suppose. I was wondering where he's from and I thought maybe he was from Australia since we were on a flight going to Sydney. But after we talked I found out that he was from France! I was like starry eyed~ people always say that French men are romantic xD lol but I didn't know French could be this good looking. He wore a pair of specs, hair was light brown and was styled, has a high nose bridge, is tall and thin. In a way, he dressed like the Asian/Taiwanese guys. I bet he must be the type of guy that many girls are going after in school. In Macquarie University, to be exact. LOL. He's gonna study there :] It was funny when he ate some of my food. Biscuits and orange juice. Lol. Poor him, he had to travel 17 hours and transit to SIN plus another 7 hours to reach his destination. = 24 hours of flight D: Sooo. I thought I could sleep for at least a few hours on the flight but dang, the food kept coming in! I was like eating and drinking the entire flight. After they had presented us with the main meal, which were beef and lamb, they gave ice cream, and fruits, then hot chocolate, and red wine. For free $_$ well we paid for the air tickets xD there were mini TVs for every seat too, we watched movies for free, they had avatar, alice in wonderland, how to train your dragon, valentine's day, and a lot more. So it was a whole night of food, movies and no sleep ._. after arriving in Sydney, I began to anticipate for the winter~ but the airport wasn't cold since they have heaters indoors. It was already 6am in Sydney so there was no time to catch some sleep D: there goes my entire day without sleeping. Then we waited for our transport, and they were kinda slowww to pick us up. It's their culture I guess :O then we went out of the airport, it was so cool outside x3~ The weather was one of the things that I liked most while being there~ There were actually a lot more good looking people in Sydney than in here :/ Maybe people here tend to dress down as it's hot and humid all year round :( I would say that the population there are almost 40% Asians and 60% Caucasians and most of them look stunning. So it's all good. I heard lots of languages on the streets. English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Cantonese, Malay, etc! and languages that I couldn't figure out. Lol. While shopping I was surprised to find that they had more Japanese products than over here :O but they were expensive. I had a relaxed mood as everyone seemed relaxed. Their working hours are short too~ even for retail, the shops close at 5.30pm SHARP everyday, except it's 9pm on thursdays~ when they close at 5.30, they would have counted the cashier's money by 5pm and have the door halfway closed by 5.15pm~ we were inside a shop when it was time for them to close the shop, they announced that the prices would still be the same tomorrow so come back again tomorrow.. lol~ they didn't seemed to care about sales. It's so much different over here, if 6pm is the off hour, most people would stay at least 1 more hour before they leave =.= no life~ by the time you reach home, it's gonna be mid night~ LOL. There are many warm and friendly people around in Sydney, I've encountered a number of strangers who spoke to me. Or does my face look friendly to them or do I look like I'm one of them, LOL. It can't be~ :O there was one Caucasian who came and talked to me during buffet. I don't know why. I kinda like their accent too. I wonder how the people here will react if I spoke like that. It's just too weird to be speaking like that over here. Just imagine their looks if I say 'here you go~' to the person collecting cheque from me xD or saying 'no worries~' when a problem arises. Haha! the weather there is very nice.. x3~ BUT now I'm back to the reality! D: D: D:
